ETKO Beer Day: a one-day festival

There are plenty of reasons to go out and enjoy an ice-cold beer during the summer, not only to find some cool in the hot weather but also because there are plenty of opportunities to. A handful of beer festivals are approaching soon, many returning for their annual editions, while others will be held for the first time. ETKO in Limassol is hosting is own Beer Day on July 21 where beer enthusiasts can enjoy a collection of craft beverages.

An evening dedicated to the craft of beer-making is set for next week as the event takes place from 5pm to 11pm. Set up in a specially-designed venue, five craft breweries will present their unique beer varieties, offering visitors the opportunity to taste everything from classic options to experimental newcomers. While draft and bottled beers flow through the space, the Beer Day will also include a food court with a variety of snacks and bites for every taste.

Of course, it would not be a summer event without some live music and entertainment. Part of the event’s agenda is a series of live performances and DJ sets by the best local DJs who will take over the decks throughout the day. Nearby, a beer pong tournament will be set up where visitors can show off their beer pong skills, have fun and win prizes.

As for young visitors, the Beer Day organisers have made sure they can have fun as well. Children’s and play areas will be created with games and educational activities. “ETKO Beer Day is more than just a beer festival,” say organisers, “it’s a day to relax, enjoy delicious food, great beer, and good music with family and friends.
