Love Island stars reveal behind the scenes ‘breakdowns’ over ‘banned’ clothing

TWO former Love Island stars have revealed behind-the-scenes “breakdowns” over banned clothing.

Now they’ve confessed that they and their fellow female Islanders were often left frustrated over being told they couldn’t wear their planned outfits.

Diamanté said: “A lot of dresses nowadays are like nice mesh material and we didn’t realise that the cameras would pick up strobing from our dresses as we’re moving.

“There will be times where literally all us girls would have breakdowns in the dressing rooms because we can’t wear what we planned.

“You plan your hair and make-up a certain way – that’s why you see a lot of dress sharing and outfit sharing in the villa. The girls have to share outfits because the outfits that they would have packed, you’d be told no, because it’s conflicting with our cameras.”

And, speaking to OK! Magazine, Lucy added: “I had a red dress and that was just plain, Emma [Milton] also had a red lacy one.

“We got approved and it was fine, but then they were like, ‘Actually no, they are strobing.’ So it didn’t like red either.”

Diamante recently revealed she’s already gone back to her day job after her Casa Amor experience.

Speaking to The Sun, she opened up about her own beauty business which is based in Dubai.

She said: “I was a business owner before this, and my business is based in Dubai.

I never ever had the intention of just dropping my business to pursue influencing full time, for me, being an influencer would more be a side thing.

“But my business will always always come first.

“It’s natural body enhancement. I feel like the message of that is that body enhancement doesn’t have to be surgical.”
