“I accidentally bought La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Mains Barrier Repairing Cream thinking it was a face moisturizer and have been using it for months with my prescription retinol,” she said, writing under the handle Lozenge22.
“It’s completely changed my skin’s moisture and texture for the better.
“I recently found out it’s intended to be hand cream [shocked].”
She gushed that the product has been so effective that other people should try using it on their faces.
“My skin has never been better, and my retinol has never been as effective as it is using this as a barrier protector,” she said.
“I think La Roche should market it for the face.
“I even have my husband using it on his face and his skin looks amazing.”
The woman revealed that having done multiple rounds of acne treatment Roaccutane, her skin is “extremely dry.”
She said the hand cream may not be suitable for people with other skin types.
