The woman shared a glimpse into her beauty regimen in a post on Reddit’s AusSkincare forum, which has over 156,000 members.

FLAWLESS FACE

She wrote in response to a user curious to hear everyone’s favorite moisturizer to use with retinol.

“I accidentally bought La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Mains Barrier Repairing Cream thinking it was a face moisturizer and have been using it for months with my prescription retinol,” she said, writing under the handle Lozenge22.

“It’s completely changed my skin’s moisture and texture for the better.

“I recently found out it’s intended to be hand cream [shocked].”

She gushed that the product has been so effective that other people should try using it on their faces.

“My skin has never been better, and my retinol has never been as effective as it is using this as a barrier protector,” she said.

“I think La Roche should market it for the face.

“I even have my husband using it on his face and his skin looks amazing.”

The woman revealed that having done multiple rounds of acne treatment Roaccutane, her skin is “extremely dry.”

She said the hand cream may not be suitable for people with other skin types.

As an alternative, she suggested the “fantastic and affordable” La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5.

La Roche Posay’s Cicaplast products created specifically for the hands are safe to use on the body, face, and scalp, according to a post on their website.

However, the majority of glowing reviews on Walmart reference using it on the hands.

“This product works fabulously on my dry and cracked skin,” one person said.

“I also use it on my feet at night as a hydrating and moisturizing treatment. Light scent but is not overwhelming.

“Absorbs into the skin quickly and does not leave a greasy residue.”

“I never write reviews but this stuff is AMAZING,” another said.

“I wash my hands a lot between cooking, cleaning, and being a mama. My hands stay dry and cracked and oftentimes bleed.

“It’s so embarrassing. Nothing really worked for me until now.

“I literally got this yesterday and my hands are already back to 100 percent. It doesn’t leave a greasy feeling which I hate about other lotions.

“It also has helped the eczema on my wrist. My only complaint is that they don’t make this in a bigger bottle! I’m going to have to stock up!”
