J-K: Infiltration bid foiled in Kupwara along LoC, three terrorists neutralised

In a significant operation, the Indian Army eliminated three hardcore foreign terrorists attempting to infiltrate across the Line of Control (LoC) in the Keran Sector of Kupwara District, Jammu and Kashmir, on the night of July 13-14. Acting on credible inputs, the Army, along with BSF and JKP, laid multiple ambushes along the infiltration route. Brigadier NR Kulkarni confirmed the terrorists, heavily armed and well-trained, were aiming to disrupt normalcy and the Amarnath Yatra. Following an intense firefight, the terrorists were neutralized, and a large cache of war-like stores was recovered.
