Unsettled Weather Pattern Turns More Active Late in the Week

Hotter and a little quieter in Acadiana for the next couple of days. Highs will reach the mid 90s under partly sunny skies with isolated showers and storms this Monday. Rain chances are slightly lower compared to yesterday. The heat index may get hotter than 105° in some areas of Acadiana.

More of the same weather is expected tomorrow followed by increasing rain chances during the latter half of the week. Heavier, more widespread thunderstorms look more likely Thursday, Friday, and throughout the weekend.
