‘Pass me the spoon’ rave shoppers as much-loved spread hits Morrisons’ shelves for 30p

FOODIES have been racing to supermarket aisles to try a popular nut butter.

A shopper on Facebook page Extreme Couponing and Bargains recently revealed that Morrisons is selling branded peanut butter on the cheap.

The post read: “Sun Pat crunchy no added sugar peanut butter 400g – clearance price of 30p at Morrisons.”

The spread usually retails for £3.50 at the retailer, and can set customers back a staggering £3.80 at competitors.

One delighted shopper joked: “Pass me a spoon”, while another joked: “I’m poorly & can’t get out atm, but thank you for thinking of me”.

Another person asked: “Is the smooth there too?” hoping that a different variation was also up for grabs.

However, the original poster replied: “Wasn’t reduced I’m afraid”.

Sun Pat claim their peanut butter is “packed with 95% peanuts”, are a “natural source of protein”, and are “suitable for vegetarians and vegans”.

This comes after Aldi shoppers were left stunned when the discounter was selling an Adventureridge fishing chair for £2.

Initially priced at just £5, the German budget supermarket reduced the fishing chair even further, selling it in their infamous middle aisle.

One customer recently spotted the deal in their local branch, posting a photo of it on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.

They captioned the post: “Camping chairs £1.99 Aldi very cheap got last one.”

The post has received plenty of reaction from shoppers clamouring to buy one of the camping essentials.

One said “bargainnnnnn” while another added “fab find”.

And customers with kids rejoiced as The Works starting selling toys from just 50p.

The group’s admin wrote in a recent post: “Outdoor fun toys reduced at The Works.”

Shoppers were delighted, with one saying: “We will have to pop in there.”

Another Works fan was keen for her son to play with the water splash balls.

The water splash balls are just £1 – after being slashed down from £.1.50.

Also on offer is a light up bubble shooter which was reduced from £3.50 to £2.50.

But that’s not it – the affordable offering includes products for even less – with the stitch bubble maze going for just 50p.

And if your child fancies a bubble fan, The Works is selling one for just £1 – and “it doubles up as a bubble tube to create amazing giant bubbles”.

Other discounted toys include a more traditional paper hand folding fan, also going for £1.
