Fans also got to see Millie Bobby Brown as she told the camera: “So I started when I was 10, I’m now turning 20 years old. It feels very weird”[/caption]

In a delight to fans, Netflix shared a behind-the-scenes look as filming progresses on Stranger Things.

During the access all areas clip, a boss can be heard telling fans: “We’re about halfway through filming now and it’s exciting.

“There’s so much going on – ladies and gentleman, welcome to Stranger Things season five.”

Fans also got to see Millie Bobby Brown as she told the camera: “So I started when I was 10, I’m now turning 20 years old. It feels very weird.”

Stranger Things debuted in 2016 and quickly became Netflix’s most-watched TV series.

The fourth series alone amassed a whopping 140 million viewers on the platform.

Reacting to the first look, one fan said: “So glad its bigger. Bigness is what we love about Stranger Things.”

A second commented: “Worth the wait?! We’ve been waiting for like 3 years for this. It better be!!”

While a third posted: “Millie has been doing this for HALF OF HER LIFE that’s crazy omg.”

Netflix bosses stopped short of revealing when the new series will air, but fans can assume it won’t be until at least early next year.
