1933 - India's first toll-free national anti-narcotics helpline all set to be launched

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to launch the first-ever national toll-free narcotics helpline, MANAS (Madak Padarth Nisedh Asuchna Kendra), during the seventh apex-level meeting of the Narco-Coordination Centre (NCORD) on July 18. This move aligns with India's 'zero tolerance policy' against drug trafficking.
