Wild Video Shows Barefoot MMA Fighter Wrestling Escaped Alligator
A well-known alligator wrangler known as the Blue Collar Brawler posted a harrowing video of his latest catch.
Fox 35 Orlando received footage of Marine Corps veteran, MMA fighter, and licensed alligator trapper Mike Dragich wrestling gator who had invaded a local fire station.
The footage shows a barefoot Dragich stalking the gator throughout the firehouse before grabbing the creature by its tail and wrestling it to the ground, eventually subduing the angry beast.
Firefighters summoned Dragich to the station after the alligator made its way from a nearby pond into the firehouse. The trapper was actually on his way to a hockey game with his family when the call came in, but since it was close by he decided to make a quick detour.
"It was only five minutes from the game, so I literally left the game, caught the alligator, and then went back to the game," Dragich said.
He made quick work of the task, wrestling and trapping the gator in record time before heading back out for the game.
Dragich is well known in Florida for his alligator capturing (and wrestling) prowess. In June 2023, Dragich likewise made headlines for capturing a rogue alligator loose near an elementary school. In April, he was seen on video wrestling an eight-foot alligator in the middle of a residential street.
