Armie Hammer Explains Why He Worked as a Timeshare Salesman in Cayman Islands & Didn't Ask His Family for Money

Armie Hammer is looking back on his days working at a timeshare office in the Cayman Islands.

In 2022, photos surfaced of him at his new gig, prompting the discovery that he was working in another industry after years spent as an actor.

This new job came after he was accused of abusive behavior, cannibalism, and sexual assualt by several women. In 2022, shocking text messages, allegedly sent by him to various women, were leaked and we have the screen grabs right here. He was not charged with any crime and denied criminal allegations.

Now, in a new interview, he’s speaking out about his time at the timeshare office.

“I loved it…it is so fun,” Armie said of the gig while appearing on the “Club Random” podcast.

He then added he had bills to pay, and needed a job.

He was then asked why he didn’t borrow money from his wealthy family. He responded, “It’s so complicated. I have come to the place where I understand that there are no free lunches. And anything that you take always has strings, especially from people who love to give because then they know they’ve got strings, right? So what I would rather do is I would rather go get a job selling timeshares. I’d rather go get a job.”

He continued, “I applied for a job to be a drama teacher. I applied for a job to be a landscaper. I applied for a job to be a building manager. And the Cayman Islands refuses to give me work permits.”

See how Armie‘s ex wife reacted to the allegations against him.
