Person living in car shot, hospitalized in SE Portland

A person was hospitalized early Monday morning following a shooting in Southeast Portland, authorities said.

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A person was hospitalized early Monday morning following a shooting in Southeast Portland, authorities said.

According to Portland police, officers responded to a shooting report on SE Taylor Street just before 4 a.m. where they found a shooting victim in a car that they live in.

Officers quickly gave the victim medical treatment and they were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident is under investigation and no arrests have been made.
