Republicans have gathered in Milwaukee to nominate Donald Trump and, as the country found on Monday, Ohio senator and former Trump hater J.D. Vance.

It’s probably hazardous to your health to watch hour after hour, day after day, of Republican fear-mongering, hate, and unthinkably absurd revisionist history about what kind of president Trump was (he was bad; he was very bad).
