James Franco Makes Rare Appearance on Movie Set After Long Break from Acting

James Franco hasn’t been seen on a movie set in years, but we have new photos of him back to work.

The 46-year-old two-time Golden Globe winner was spotted filming his upcoming movie The Razor’s Edge on Saturday (July 13) in Columbus, Ga.

The movie also stars Oscar winner Tommy Lee Jones, who will co-lead the action-thriller alongside James!

Deadline gave a synopsis of the film, “After a mob hitman vows to leave his deadly past behind, he faces an impossible choice when his daughter is kidnapped and the woman he loves becomes a target of the syndicate. He is forced to undertake one final, perilous mission while being pursued by an assassin even more lethal.”

James stepped away from acting after five women came forward to accuse him of sexually inappropriate behavior in an article published by the Los Angles Times in January 2018. Two of the alleged victims, Sarah Tither-Kaplan and Toni Gaal, filed a sexual misconduct lawsuit against James in 2019 and they reached a settlement in 2021 in which the actor agreed to pay $2,235,000.

James broke his silence on the allegations in December 2021, revealing that he had struggled with sex addition for years and admitted that he “cheated on everybody” before his relationship with his current girlfriend.
