NIDF LOAN TO ENABLE PORT MACQUARIE TRACK UPGRADES
Karting Australia is pleased to announce the approval of an interest free loan through the National Infrastructure and Development Fund (NIDF) for the Port Macquarie Kart Racing Club. The Karting Australia Board of Directors approved the loan on Monday night.
The loan will enable crucial repairs to be completed at the Pacific Parkway International Track, specifically at turn one on the circuit. Additionally, the complete circuit will undergo a treatment of seal coat to ensure the longevity of the surface. These upgrades will commence in the coming weeks, ensuring that the scheduled NSW Kart Championship remains uninterrupted on the final weekend of September.
“The National Infrastructure and Development Fund is designed to support our affiliated clubs in developing, maintaining and enhancing their facilities,” said Karting Australia Chairman Kevin Davis.
“This loan to the Port Macquarie Kart Racing Club will not only improve the track’s safety and performance but also ensure its long-term sustainability. We encourage all our affiliated Clubs to explore the benefits of the Fund.”
Port Macquarie Kart Racing Club President Ben Moylan is grateful for the benefit that the NIDF can provide the Club through the loan.
“We are thrilled to receive this loan from Karting Australia’s NIDF. These repairs and improvements are vital for our track’s future and will provide a better racing experience for our members and visiting competitors. We look forward to completing the upgrades and hosting the NSW Kart Championship in September,” said Moylan.
Karting Australia remains committed to supporting its affiliated Clubs through initiatives like the NIDF, ensuring the continued growth and development of karting across Australia.
