History of Revolutionary War at State Capitol

TOPEKA (KSNT) - The "Daughters of American Revolution" organization along with the "American Battlefield Trust" organization are hosting a traveling exhibition at the state capitol. It's called the American Revolutionary Experience and it gives people a chance to learn about the common people who fought during the Revolutionary War. This includes women, slaves and more.

"We're so focused on the military part of the Revolutionary War," State Region for Kansas Society of Daughters in American Revolution, Rebekah Kline said. "And this really shows you that people all over the colonies at that time were regular people. People from the farm. People from all walks of life that helped with the Revolutionary War."

The United States of America will turn 250 in 2026. The Exhibit will be at the Capitol through Wednesday, June 17, at noon
