‘America’s Got Talent’: Singer Alex Sampson is your favorite act from ‘AGT’ Auditions 6 [POLL RESULTS]

Following the two-hour “Auditions 6” episode of “America’s Got Talent” Season 19 on July 9, we asked YOU, “Who was your favorite act?” Among the contestants that performed for the judges were armored fighters Full Steel Combat, trapeze artist Super Silva Jr, singer Alex Sampson, youth dance crew Espiritu, comedy performer Ridiculous Nicholas, sound healer Ry the Healer, dancing cow Kalina Moolina, singer Missy Galore, hobby horse rider Ada Filppa, balance act Praveen Prajapat, saxophonist B. Thompson, action performer Tyler Burke, foot juggler Helen the Foot Juggler, and entertainer Balloon Taro.

Based on your votes in our Auditions 6 poll, your favorite act of that night was Alex Sampson. The 20-year-old artist delivered a “retro” original song titled “Pretty Baby,” and the judges praised his originality and urged him to continue singing tunes that sounded like they’re from the ’50s and the ’60s. “It’s the kind of song you would hear in a Martin Scorsese movie, in that era,” raved Simon Cowell. “It was very authentic. It was very different.”

Here’s how all of the acts fared in our poll results, as of this writing:

Alex Sampson — 42%
Balloon Taro — 11%
B. Thompson — 9%
Helen the Foot Juggler — 7%
Espiritu — 4%
Full Steel Combat — 4%
Missy Galore — 4%
Ry the Healer — 4%
Tyler Burke — 4%
Ada Filppa — 2%
