FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Happy Tuesday!

We've got another very hot and muggy day ahead of us, as highs warm back near 90, with "feels-like" temps even hotter as a result of high humidity. Additionally, we'll be tracking thunderstorms at times. Those storms remain fairly isolated during the morning, then we will see lots of dry time during the middle of the day, before more scattered thunderstorms develop later this afternoon and evening. It will also be fairly gusty at times today.

The Storm Prediction Center leaves most of our area under a 1-out-of-5 risk for strong to severe storms for this afternoon. Primarily we'll be watching the potential for isolated storms capable of producing heavy rain and damaging wind gusts.

For Wednesday, expect continued rounds of scattered storm activity, with greater coverage SE of I-71. This, as a result of an advancing cold front, which drops temps back into the lower 80s tomorrow.

By the end of the week, conditions will be much more comfortable, with lower humidity, and highs in the lower 80s for both Thursday and Friday, with lots of sunshine.
