Budget 2024: As the Union Budget 2024 presentation approaches, the Halwa ceremony was held in North Block, marking the final stage of the Budget preparation process. Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was present for the event. This traditional Halwa ceremony takes place annually before the “lock-in” phase of Budget preparation begins.
