Uttar Pradesh govt revises EV policy, caps incentive for electric cars to Rs 1 lakh

Uttar Pradesh offers 15% incentives, capped at Rs 1 lakh, for 25,000 electric cars. Rs 100 crore will support 200,000 two-wheelers. Rs 12,000 or 15% is provided for 30,000 three-wheelers. Rs 20 lakh is allocated for each of the 400 buses. Goods carriers receive up to Rs 100,000 or 10% ex-factory price.
