Gujarat govt announces partial rollback of fee hike in 13 GMERS medical colleges

The Gujarat government has reduced fees for MBBS courses in 13 colleges under GMERS following student protests. Fees for government and management quotas have been lowered by significant percentages. The new fee structure will take effect from the 2024-25 academic year.
