My concern with Potter is that it takes him a while to coach his philosophy into teams, and he won't get that at international level.

It's Carsley for me, about time we had a Brummie in charge.
I don't think that's an issue tbh... Yes at club level maybe, but I'm pretty confident the likes of Bellingham, Foden, Mainoo, Stones, Saka etc wouldn't have any issues playing whatever formation or tactic he'd ask of them.

We've got a bunch of world class players or players with that potential that would have no problem playing a possession based game with an onus on attacking and creating chances, in fact I think they'd revel in the opportunity.
