Patriots Reveal Large-Scale Changes To Front Office, Top Executives
The Patriots had already undergone quite a bit of turnover this summer but decided to officially announce a few more moves before congregating for training camp on July 24.
New England on Tuesday announced five personnel staff additions and four staff promotions.
Alonzo Highsmith was hired as a senior personnel executive, Casey Belongia joined the staff as a Midwest area scout, Bob Kroonenberg was added as a pro scout and A.J. Richardson and Landon Simpson were named scouting assistants — rounding out the additions to an already large personnel staff.
Patrick Stewart (director of pro personnel), Sam Fioroni (assistant director of pro personnel), Marshall Oium (director of football strategy) and Marquis Dickerson (pro scout) all received promotions.

Patriots executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf will run the entire operation, officially earning the title in May after leading New England’s free agency and draft efforts. Highsmith, who worked alongside Wolf with the Green Bay Packers and Cleveland Browns, will join director of player personnel Matt Groh as the top executives behind Wolf.
New England previously announced Jerod Mayo’s promotion to head coach, as well as additions and promotions in what will ultimately be a 29-person coaching staff. The Patriots will also have 27 people in the front office, including executives, scouts, software engineers, a research department and assistants.
