The game show presenter opted for a Peter Wright-type mohawk as he addressed the fan who was shocked to learn he will face off against Littler in Blackpool.

And it was all part of the comedian’s Saturday night BBC series.

The comedian in question is Michael McIntyre.

It is unclear whether McIntyre actually conducted refereeing duties for the match as calling dart scores is notoriously difficult.

McIntyre, 48, said to the grateful fan: “This is a very, very special night because you love darts and you love going to the darts.

“Your sons have nominated you for this surprise because of the work that you do raising money for Matthew.”

The appreciative man’s son Matthew sadly passed away from bone cancer in 2022.

McIntyre’s ‘Big Show’ often features nominations, where the public can recommend friends, family members or workmates for a surprise of a lifetime.

The 17-year-old sensation lost 10-6 to the three-time world champ, who has not lifted a title since January amid a drop in form.
