Taylor Crabb teams with Troy Field, Ford Harman to win Orange County grass tourney

Former Long Beach State indoor players Aidan Knipe and Dane Hillis teamed with Mike Griffin, who runs Bad Boys Open Volleyball, and put on a grass volleyball tournament at their alma mater.

The tournament, played on the Long Beach State campus, which included more than 120 teams on 28 courts, paid $3,000 each to the winning teams.

On the men’s side, the title went to pros Taylor Crabb and Troy Field, who teamed with Long Beach State libero Ford Harman.

The women’s title was won by Skyler Takeda, Alla Tsakke, and Mary Tsakke.

The event also included a 4-on-4 college tournament, which was won by Ryan Peluso, Aidan Powell, Ford Haram, and Quin Zilch.
