Love Island bosses ‘plotting to boot out villa boy and girl’ as fans ‘work out’ huge twist

LOVE Island fans suspect producers are planning to get rid of two cast members in a shock twist.

A recent game of snog, marry, pie made it clear that some of the islanders still have unresolved feelings for each other.

Mimii decided to kiss her previous partner Ayo, despite him choosing a new girl to date during Casa Amor.

This left many of their co-stars convinced that the pair would end up getting back together.

Viewers of the ITV show do love a reunion story, and some of the most popular couples in recent years have been ones who recoupled in Casa but then went back to the person they were originally with.

Indiyah and Dami from series eight made it to the Love Island final after they decided their connection was too strong to ignore after reuniting in the main villa.

Ella and Tyrique in series ten also had their heads turned in Casa Amor, but got back together after a brief break up and decided to focus on their connection in the end.

So many long term Love Island fans now think that show bosses will try and dump Mimii or Ayo’s partners from the villa so that the pair will be forced to face their feelings for each other.

One person took to X with their theory, writing: “The way the producers ended this episode, it seems like they either want Jessica or Josh out so meet Mimi and Ayo can get together.”

Another speculated: “Love island producers want us to vote Josh and Mimi out.

“I understand why they stopped before we could hear Ayo and Mimi’s conversation. They want us to vote Mimi & Josh out.”

A third agreed: “I feel that’s what the producers want. They’ll probably have the islanders choose out of the bottom 3 couples. Then the islanders will send home Josh n Jessica home.”
