Woman, 34, ‘mangled in car crash’ shares near-death experience – and why we shouldn’t be scared of heaven

A WOMAN has opened up about her near-death experience and revealed what might happen to us after we die.

When Willow Caelan was thrown out of her car into a ditch after a sudden crash she thought her time was up.

The 34-year-old expected pain but instead allegedly drifted into a state of peace and comfort where “nothing mattered”.

She claims seeing her soul floating above her body as if her physical form was no longer present.

Now, after being given a second chance, she’s sharing her near-death experience as she believes it may hold the secret to what happens after we die.

Willow said: “I felt like I was just pure consciousness and love, not a human with a body.

“It was almost like I was floating into a void to be connected with god or some form of the greater universe.

“I couldn’t see or hear anything, but I remember it being dark, comforting and warm. It was incredibly relaxing.

“I was finally at peace – no longer worried or questioning anything – it was like heaven.”

Willow, from Michigan, US, had finished her first day at a new job when suddenly a car rear-ended her vehicle.

She claims she and her car were “launched 40 yards” into oncoming traffic, where a semi-truck began to approach her – and then she blacked out.

As it was so horrific, witnesses were convinced she hadn’t survived until she regained consciousness and flagged down help.

She said: “Everyone was in complete disbelief, especially as no one came to check on me since it was almost certain that I wouldn’t have survived.

“My car was a complete mangled wreckage, but I somehow came out eerily unscathed. An unexplainable force saved me.

Dying isn’t something to be scared about, it’s just another state of being.

“I feel that I woke up in an alternate timeline or reality where I had somehow stayed alive.”

The next few days remained a blur as she tried to piece together exactly what happened – and how she was still on Earth.

Despite physical injuries, such as torn muscles, a concussion, temporary vision loss and a compacted spine, the lasting effects on her soul allegedly impacted her the most.

Willow said: “My parents and friends seemed different to me, like strangers.

“I was different with my mannerisms and how I spoke to everyone. Quickly, I realised I had gained a unique awareness of life.

“It was like everything was new again; colours were brighter, I became more purpose-driven and I wanted to experience everything.

LIFE AFTER DEATH

A WOMAN claims to have gone to heaven and met God as she slipped in a coma following a horrifying near-death experience.

Mariandree Cárdenas was working from home one day when she felt her throat start to close up and began choking.

Her hands began twitching and she felt like her face was “falling asleep”.

Mariandree realised she could no longer speak.

She managed to text her mother and brother for help, who rushed over and found her unconscious.

The 24-year-old – who was diagnosed with severe asthma as a child – was taken to hospital, where doctors were forced to intubate her and later place her in a coma.

As her body lay unconscious in her hospital bed, Mariandree claimed her mind was far from quiet.

“I couldn’t hear almost anything anymore and my body no longer responded,” Mariandree, a graphic designer, told What’s The Jam.

“The last thing I heard was a nurse or doctor say the phrase ‘she left us’.

“And in the blink of an eye I stopped being on Earth and appeared somewhere else.”

“It became clear to me that we never know how long we truly have here.”

Now, she’s trained as a reiki master, mind mastery coach and a subconscious bridge to help others explore their soul and the secrets of life.

While still traumatised, she no longer fears dying and is grateful for the “wake-up call”.

She added: “The experience has allowed me to see the beauty of life and our physical reality.

“We don’t need to sit in what we’ve been through as our definition of self, as we have opportunities each day to recreate who we choose to be.

“I feel so much more connected to my soul. Dying isn’t something to be scared about, it’s just another state of being.

“I don’t feel like we have physical sensations in the afterlife or very strong emotions.

“We’re put on this Earth to experience what those feelings are like, even when it’s painful, as it teaches us how to make the most of this greatest gift; life.

“I don’t know if it was divine intervention, a stroke of sheer luck or something more extraordinary.

“But a mysterious phenomenon kept me from the brink of death.”
