Tesco have started to sell five packs of Samyang Hot Chicken Flavour Ramen for an astonishing £5.

The same stir-fried ramen pack costs almost £20 on TikTok shop where it has quickly become a viral sensation.

Creators have gained millions of views from mukbang videos online where they eat the very spicy noodles and speak about their day.

One of the reasons for the huge popularity of the food is down to the shocking spice level making them unbearable for some and providing great content for viewers.

Each pack comes with five individually wrapped 140g noddles inside making them great for weekly shops or family feasts.

They are also popular as they are so simple to make.

Simply add the noodles to boiling water on a hob and cook for five minutes until they soften up.

Then drain any excess water away – keeping just a few tablespoons – and stir fry in the hot sauce and chilli flakes.

The huge revelation that the ramen was now being stocked in Tesco led to hundreds of shoppers thrilled.

One told their pal on social media: “We need some of these.”

As a second rejoiced: “I need to try these!! See them on TikTok all the time.”

Others were left warning their fellow shoppers over the spice tolerance needed to polish off a bowl of the noodles.

“These aren’t just spicy noodles are they though. They are ring stinging lip swelling, can’t breath or stop crying noodles,” said one.

Another wrote: “These are the blow your head off hot ones!!”

Elsewhere, Morrisons has the five pack on their shelves but have it priced at £5.99.

Tesco also sells the hot chicken ramen in a single, ready-to-go pot.

The 70g grub costs £1.45 and have been described as “amazing” and “really delicious” by happy shoppers.

It comes as Tesco slashed the price of solar lights to just £3.75 – leaving shoppers flocking to pick up the “magical” garden accessory.

The supermarket’s firefly solar string lights have received rave reviews with shoppers flocking to stores after the price was cut from £5.

Shoppers could also get Yankee Candles with up to 50% off.
