Hallmark Channel Mourns Death of 'When Calls the Heart' Director Neill Fearnley

The Hallmark Channel family is mourning the loss of a beloved director.

Neill Fearnley, who directed dozens of episodes of When Calls the Heart, has passed away after a battle with ALS.

In addition to his work on the long-running series, Neill also directed many movies for the network.

The Hallmark team took to Instagram to pay tribute to him.

“Hearties, it’s with profound heavy hearts today that we bid farewell to When Calls the Heart director Neill Fearnley, who passed away on July 13 after a long fight with ALS. Neill was vital to making When Calls the Heart the beloved show it is today, and he will be sorely missed by the entire Heartie community and everyone who had the honor of knowing him. ❤️,” they wrote.

We’re sending our thoughts and condolences to Neill’s loved ones during this difficult time. We have sadly lost many stars in 2024.
