RNC bans some water bottles over weapon fears — but vendor hands out rocks inside hall

Attendees at the Republican National Convention have been banned from bringing in hard water bottles for fear they could be thrown at speakers — but a vendor inside the hall was spotted giving out free rocks shaped like the state of Indiana.

Podcaster Robert Evans found the booth Tuesday afternoon while covering the convention and posted a photo of it on X.

“Hard-sided water bottles are not allowed inside the security perimeter but this company from Indiana is handing out limestone blocks,” Evans wrote on X.

The stones appear to be hand-outs from the Indiana Limestone Company.
