'Epic shade!' Cheers as 'feisty Joe' hammers Trump over 'Black jobs' remark
"Feisty" Joe Biden earned applause Tuesday as he ripped his GOP opponent's repeated remarks over "Black jobs."
Biden, who has sought to distance himself from his disastrous debate performance in Atlanta, slammed former President Donald Trump's comments on Tuesday after Trump has repeated that Biden is "allowing" migrants to come through the border and "they're taking Black jobs and they're taking Hispanic jobs."
The remark, which Trump said at the debate and has repeated at rallies, swiftly generated outrage, as many Black commentators inferred he was saying Black people are better fit for menial, low-wage labor.
Even Ben Carson, a former neurosurgeon and right-wing commentator who served as one of the highest-ranking Black people in Trump's Cabinet, appeared to be somewhat uncomfortable as he tried to defend Trump's words.
On Tuesday, Biden, speaking to the NAACP, flattened the comments.
"Of course, here's what he thinks of 'Black jobs' — and I love his phrase, 'Black jobs' — Biden began, "Tells us a lot about the man and a lot about his character."
"Folks I know what a Black job is. It’s the Vice President of the United States!" he shouted, as cheers erupted for about 10 seconds. "I know what a Black job is — the first Black president in American history, Barack Obama!"
Biden called Trump's "mismanagement" of the pandemic "especially damaging" to Black communities and other communities of color.

Biden's dig earned praise on social media, with some calling it a "powerful moment."

"Feisty Joe is the best Joe," wrote @BDeMayo.
"There he goes, that’s our President!" proclaimed @PawlowskiMario.
"Dark Brandon came to win!!!" quipped @ArtCandee, adding nine fire emojis.
