Kellyanne Conway’s daughter fact-checks mom: 'Thought he called Trump Hitler?'

Kellyanne Conway, a former senior adviser to Donald Trump, was fiercely fact-checked by her own daughter Tuesday after the ex-MAGA staffer praised vice presidential nominee Senator JD Vance (R-OH).

Responding to a video clip posted to X (formerly Twitter) of an interview the Ohio senator gave with Fox News Monday, Kellyanne wrote: "Senator @JDVance1 represents a new generation of America First warriors. His life experiences and vision equip him to fight for the forgotten men, women and children alongside President Trump. Let’s win in 2024!"

The former Trump staffer's daughter, Claudia Conway, replied: Thought he called Trump 'Hitler'? He did. Thought he said he opposes marriage equality and abortions for r*pe and incest? ..Oh right he did.'

A "Never Trump" Republican at one point in time, Vance once called the former president "America's Hitler" and "a cynical a—hole like Nixon" in a message to a friend.

Despite her support for Vance, The Daily Beast reported in May that Kellyanne had been working behind the scenes to encourage Trump to select Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) as his running mate.

One anonymous source told the Beast that "Conway's influence may not mean much."

The source also emphasized, "Here’s the thing about Kellyanne: people dismiss her for a variety of reasons; she’s not particularly smart and doesn’t really come up with a lot of good ideas, she’s always chasing money and that’s what guides her decision making."
