Elly De La Cruz, Hunter Greene rep the Reds as National League All Stars tonight
Go Reds!
Major League Baseball’s All Star Game will feature a first pitch at some point shortly after they squeeze out as much mostly useless television coverage as they can at the outset of the 8:00 PM ET time slot. When they finally get around to the action after the theatrics, it’ll be Corbin Burnes of the Baltimore Orioles (and American League All Stars) firing the game’s first pitch, with Arizona’s Ketel Marte the first National League batter in the box.
Pittsburgh pitching phenom Paul Skenes and his mustache will toe the rubber first for the NL in Arlington, Texas, and the hope is that we get to see Cincinnati’s Hunter Greene claim an inning later on. Greene is joined by Elly De La Cruz as representatives of the Reds, and I can guarantee you we’ll see plenty of Elly at some point mid-game.
Starting lineups are listed below. You can find the game on FOX.
