Yesterday Charles and Camilla wrapped up their two-day tour of the Channel Islands.

The royal couple toured Jersey on Monday before heading to Guernsey yesterday.

Charles presented a royal title to Tamsin, an eight-year-old Golden Guernsey goat.

Tamsin’s owner Joe Corr, nine, helped Charles put a bell around the her neck.

Joe told Sky News he washed Tamsin with Head & Shoulders shampoo so she looked and smelled her best for the royals.

Tamsin’s rare breed will now be know around the world as Royal Golden Guernseys.

The royal title had to be signed off by the Cabinet Office before Charles could give Tamsin her bell.

During the Second World War, farmers hid Golden Guernseys indoors to stop the Channel Islands’ Nazi occupiers slaughtering them.

Camilla also tried a number of Channel Island delicacies including a cheese which one local gave her as a birthday present.

She had a bandage on her right ankle and used an umbrella as a walking stick.
