Revenue from hydropower to soar to Rs 1000 crore in next 5-10 years: Arunachal CM Pema Khandu

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu emphasised that hydropower is crucial for revenue generation, projecting a potential increase from Rs 500 crore to over Rs 1000 crore in 5-10 years through successful project execution. He called upon Community Based Organizations to assist in self-sustenance efforts, highlighting the importance of inclusive governance and the need for local consent in hydropower project implementation. Khandu also advocated for high-end tourism development to boost state-owned resources, while addressing issues of corruption in elections and expressing gratitude for community support.
