‘Forget eyebrow blindness, I had bump blindness!’ woman sobs about 90s hairdo & says she shouldn’t have left the house

A WOMAN has left people in hysterics after sharing hilarious pictures of herself with a hairdo that was the height of fashion in the 90s.

Christin took to TikTok to post a video which included pictures of her modelling her favoured “bump” hairdo, as she wrote over the top: “Why did my mama let me walk out the house like this?

“The bump was bumping back in the day!”

The pictures showed Christin with bleached blonde hair, having teased the front part into a massive quiff.

She wore the ‘do on a daily basis, and even to official events such as her school prom.

And in the comments section, Christin admitted that her hairstylist relied on a secret trick for her prom ‘do.

“Fun fact: my prom hair was a French twist,” she wrote.

“So the twist in the back, I didn’t want it flat too my head I wanted some volume in it.

“So my stylist came up with the great idea to roll my hair up with a toilet paper roll to create that volume – no one knew but me.

“Great memories!”

“Forever known as ‘the girl with the bump’,” she captioned the video.

The comments section was immediately filled with people weighing in on Christin’s retro ‘do.

“Ok, I was also a bump it girly and now I’m wondering if I had hair blindness!” one wrote.

“You had the bump I adored as a child,” another laughed.

“I always thought the bump girlies were superior.”

“The way my jaw dropppped,” a third said.

“Bump it went craaaaazy,” someone else said.

“I miss this era honestly,” another added.

“The amount of YT tutorials I watched to get the poof with the swooped bangs!”

What is the 'eyebrow blindness' trend?

The trending term is being used by people referring to their former looks, which they thought of as on-trend at the time but can see were a total fail now looking back.

While big bushy brows are trendy at the moment, thin, sculpted ones were more popular back in the 90s.

With many people regretting the fact they’d over-plucked their brows and left them so thin.

The ‘blindness’ term has also been used to refer to other parts of the appearance that people regret – such as massive fake lashes, migrated filler or patchy, overloaded fake tan.

“I questioned my mom about how she let me walk out of the house in my emo phase…” someone else said.

“She told me it was my best phase and that I looked cute.

“Love is blind!”

“Lmaooooo these are incredible,” another laughed.

“I too had bump blindness,” someone else admitted.

Others pointed out that while Christin’s hair is now brunette, she still appears to like a bit of volume in her barnet.

“Ma’am I say this as a friend, you’re still doing it,” one wrote.

“Girl, what’s going on with it now?” another questioned.

“I’m here to pre warn you, you’re doing the new version now!” a third laughed.
