EU court rejects ByteDance's challenge against EU gatekeeper label

TikTok owner ByteDance's appeal against being classified as a gatekeeper was dismissed by EU's second top court. Under the Digital Markets Act (DMA), companies labeled as gatekeepers are subject to a list of dos and don'ts to ensure a level playing field for rivals and more choices for consumers.
