Prince William and Kate Middleton wish Queen Camilla happy birthday

'Wishing Her Majesty a very Happy Birthday.'

Prince William and Kate Middleton have wished Queen Camilla a happy birthday as she turns 77 today.

The Prince and Princess of Wales posted a photo on X showing King Charles’ wife sat on a bench smiling as she clutches a basket of pink flowers.

‘Wishing Her Majesty a very Happy Birthday’, they said.

Camilla appeared to be sat on a lawn lined with trees wearing a blue cardigan over a blue flowery dress.

The official Royal Family account also sent Camilla a warm message, sharing an image of Camilla looking somewhat less relaxed.

She was pictured wearing a royal blue dress with her hand resting on a banister with the blue sea surrounding the Channel Islands visible in the background.

Charles and Camilla were on a two-day trip of the islands off the north coast of France.

They were met by rain one day and blue, sunny skies the next.

The royals also released a video of some early birthday celebrations in Guernsey on Tuesday.

In it, primary school children waving Union Jacks sang Happy Birthday to the Queen in Serquaise, the island’s local language.

The students from Sark School in Les Cotils at L’Hyvreuse, in Saint Peter Port, also gifted a handwritten poster with birthday wishes to the Queen, who wore a royal blue coat.

Camilla had sustained a ‘slight ankle injury’ during Monday’s visit to the neighbouring island of Jersey on Monday, according to aides.

Reflecting on their last visit to Guernsey in 2012, Charles said: ‘We were fortunate to meet so many islanders on that occasion and to see so clearly the great regard and affection for her late Majesty.

‘We are delighted to be able to return once again and we look forward to meeting more people from the wonderful islands.’
