NO summer picnic is complete without a tinny.

And with the weather set to pick up later this week, Aldi has dropped a host of nostalgic boozey cans.

The budget supermarket’s range of uniquely-flavoured Taurus cider cans have been a hit with foodies so far this year.

The cocktail flavours of Pina Colada, Raspberry Mojito and Passionfruit Martini have already sold out in some stores, just two weeks after their release.

But fear not, as you can now pick up even wackier flavours.

Aldi has dropped all new Taurus cider cans flavoured after lemon sherbert, strawberry laces and even bubblegum.

Brits with a sweet tooth looking to enjoy a tipple that reminds them of their favourite childhood sweets are, naturally, delighted.

Karen Meredith shared on Instagram that the lemon sherbert flavoured cider is “delicious”, while Hayley Trub dubbed it “lovely and refreshing”.

Each 330ml tinny costs just 99p.

There’s the Taurus Strawberry Laces Flavoured English Cider, Taurus Bubble Gum Flavoured English Pear Cider and Taurus Lemon Sherbet Flavoured English Cider.

Aldi’s social media team took to Instagram to show off the aesthetic cans.

“I have these all ready for our week off,” content creator Kirsty commented.

“Raising the bar everyday,” Rio Bravo quipped.

“These look lovely,” Caroline Archer added.

With an alcohol by volume of 3.4%, they’re also less boozey than traditional ciders – which can go as high as 12%.

British weather so far this summer has been nothing short of upsetting.

NHS guidelines on drinking alcohol

According to the NHS, regularly drinking more than 14 units of alcohol a week risks damaging your health.

To keep health risks from alcohol to a low level if you drink most weeks:

  • men and women are advised not to drink more than 14 units a week on a regular basis
  • spread your drinking over 3 or more days if you regularly drink as much as 14 units a week
  • if you want to cut down, try to have several drink-free days each week

If you’re pregnant or think you could become pregnant, the safest approach is not to drink alcohol at all to keep risks to your baby to a minimum.
