My bridezilla pal had ridiculous rules – BYOB, ugly hairstyles & always being happy, then she dumped me as a bridesmaid
ONE woman proved that the bride isn’t always right after making a list of strict rules for her bridal party.
The bridezilla went on to dump one of her bridesmaids when she refused to drop £1,500 in the lead up to the wedding.

She explained that she saw a “different side” to her friend after she got engaged.
The bride-to-be asked each of member of her bridal party to fork out almost £800 on the hen-do alone.
While the Redditor accepted this significant expense, she pointed out that the bridesmaids were also expected to cover the catering for the bridal shower.
She revealed that she had already spent a large amount of money on the nuptials before even purchasing a wedding gift.
The poster also pointed out that the bride’s parents were wealthy, making the situation even more infuriating.
She added that guests were also required to bring their own alcohol to the reception.
The wedding was also set to take place in the United States, where it is custom to have an open bar funded by the wedding budget.
However, it was the bride’s hair and makeup expectations that really got to the Reddit user.
“For the wedding day itself, she dropped the bomb today that she wants a professional makeup artist and hair stylist to do our makeup,” she explained.
She revealed that the beauty treatments would cost her a total of £230.
“I am at my limit for spending and she said if I do my own makeup, I have to practice and send a picture for approval,” the Redditor added.
She also explained that the bridesmaid hairstyle chosen by the bride would not work for her shorter hair.
“I sent her a picture [showing] how my hair isn’t long enough with my face framing and asked if I can do a low bun with pieces down in the front,” she wrote.
She said the bride refused as she wanted her bridal party to have a “uniform look” despite not wearing the same dresses.

“Had I known I was expected to pay for this much, I would have declined being a bridesmaid,” the poster explained.
However, she didn’t have to worry about quitting as the bride randomly dumped her from her bridal party.
“She then said I looked sad at her bachelorette party,” the poster revealed.
“She said she couldn’t have that on her wedding day.”
Reddit users shared their thoughts on the bride-to-be’s behavior in the comments section.
“The amount of booze required to make this bearable isn’t possible to bring on your own,” joked one reader.
“And that’s how they stay wealthy,” pointed out another commenter.
“BYOB??? Dear Lord. I’m so sick of brides over-policing their party members’ bodies. Same hairstyle? A VOTE for your hair? Come on now,” said a third person.
