ePremier12 Europe Qualifier announced; Online tournament starts August 12

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has officially announced the ePremier12 Europe Qualifier, which will qualify one player from the continent to the WBSC’s ePremier12 later this year. 

There will be two qualification stages as part of the ePremier12 Europe Qualifier. From 12-18 August, the Europe eBaseball™ Cup presented by FIBS (Italian Baseball Softball Federation) will take place online in WBSC: eBASEBALL™ POWER PROS. The top four players resident in Europe in the tournament based on Selection Points (SP) will move on to the ePremier12 Europe Finals presented by FIBS, which will take place at Bluenergy Stadium in Udine, Italy on a date still to be determined.

The winner of the ePremier12 Europe Finals will move on to the Opening Round of the ePremier12 later this year, joining SHORA and NEGRAY as part of the field of 12 players in the international eSports tournament for WBSC eBASEBALL™: POWER PROS.

Meanwhile the 2nd Global Qualifier tournament is taking place in WBSC eBASEBALL™: POWER PROS. The top 16 players in cumulative Qualifying Points (QP) after the four qualifying weeks will make the second Global Qualifier Play-Off, to take place in August in Japan. The points and standings for the Global Qualifiers can be tracked by visiting KONAMI’s website.
