Community biker group 'rev up' Kidderminster care home

Staff, residents, relatives and the local community came together at Hollyfields care home to enjoy a visit from local bike group, the Blue Knights. The idea came about because kind-hearted Kimberely Angus from the home’s Activities Team had been chatting to residents and realised many of them had been keen bikers in their past. She thought they would love a visit from the Blue Knights, a local group of ex or retired police and prison officers, and she was right!

Community engagement was a key highlight of the event. The Blue Knights, known for their dedication to charitable causes and giving back, generously volunteered their time to visit the home. Their presence not only entertained the residents but also forged new connections and deepened existing relationships within the community.
