Man injured in shooting in South Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- Buffalo Police are investigating a shooting that occurred inside a residence in South Buffalo Tuesday night, officials said.

A 25-year-old male was struck by gunfire while inside a residence on the 100 block of Smith Street, according to Buffalo Police. South District officers responded to the call just before 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say the victim was transported to ECMC with apparent serious injuries.
