Local officials in the provinces of Bamyan, Baghlan, Kandahar, and Parwan reported that 22 people lost their lives and 50 others were injured as a result of multiple traffic accidents in the past day.

Mohammad Khawani Rasa, the spokesman for Bamyan Security Command, stated that one of these incidents occurred on Tuesday, July 16th, in the Deh-e Ahangaran area in central Bamyan. Officials confirmed that two individuals lost their lives, and four others were injured in this traffic accident.

He mentioned that among the injured were three women and one child.

Meanwhile, due to three separate traffic incidents yesterday in Parwan province, two individuals were killed, and seven others were injured.

Officials reported that these incidents were caused by collisions involving motorcycles, a car hitting a tree, and other similar accidents.

Additionally, in another traffic incident in Kandahar, a newlywed groom lost his life, and five others were injured.

This incident occurred in the Miwand district when the vehicle carrying the groom collided with a cargo truck.

These incidents highlight a recent increase in traffic accidents across the country.
