A CRAFTY mother has shared how she transformed her children’s kiddie pool by repurposing an old item.
She was hailed as a “genius” for her water balloon trick that turned the summer activity into a theme park.
Outdoor-loving mom Rheagan Mae (@rheaganmae) got creative and sustainable when having fun in the sun.
In a viral TikTok video, she showed how she used an old item in her house to create an attraction worthy of a water park.

She said she reused an old water balloon filler to make a sprinkler for her kids.
It attached to the side of the kiddie pool and spouted water out several feet in the air and back into the pool.
It elevated the appeal of their outdoor space and transformed it.

Although it looked easy to assemble, viewers had many questions and concerns.
“Is it connected to the water hose or your pool?? If connected to the hose, do you worry about overfilling??” one inquired.
Rheagan said that the water balloon filler was connected to the hose.
“We only connect it when the pool needs some extra water put back in. Connecting it to the pool would be cool too!” she added.
“Hose water is 65 degrees here. That’s still chilly and uncomfortable when it lands straight on ya. Cool idea though,” another TikTok user commented.
Rheagan replied that “it felt great” because it was 100 degrees where she lived.

Turns out she wasn’t the only person who decided to try this.
“I melted the ends with a lighter and then squished them. It sprays a fine mist great for hot days,” a TikTok user explained.
“Also can use an old water hose or PVC pipe and run it around the top of the poles for the trampoline,” another suggested.
