Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou has named his side which will take to the field in this evening’s pre-season friendly against Heart of Midlothian at Tynecastle.

The North Londoners have made the trip to Scotland for their first ‘official’ match of pre-season having taken the field at the club’s Hotspur Way training facility last weekend to face Cambridge United in a behind-closed-doors fixture.
Postecoglou‘s side eased past their League One opponents with a 7-2 victory courtesy of a Brennan Johnson hat-trick, a brace by Heung-min Son, while Mikey Moore was also one of the goalscorers in the second half.
Teenage talent Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall also saw their first action in the fixture and will feature again tonight.
Tottenham begin their pre-season campaign, officially in Scotland
It’s likely that the Australian will make plenty of changes throughout the course of the game as he looks to spread the minutes throughout his squad.
A number of players are still unavailable for selection due to their respective involvement in Euro 2024 and Copa America including Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Radu Dragusin, Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero Giovani Lo Celso and Rodrigo Bentancur.
The game kicks off at 19:00 and is being shown live on Tottenham’s streaming facility, SpursPLAY.
