EastEnders reveals ANOTHER huge return as Jane Beale drops bombshell
EASTENDERS has revealed ANOTHER huge return after Jane Beale dropped a bombshell tonight.
The shop assistant – who is played by actress Laurie Brett in the BBC soap – made her shock return this week after seven years.
She had previously fled Walford after being attacked by son Bobby, blackmailed by Max Branning and exposed as being behind Lucy Beale’s death mystery.
But this week it emerged she was back in contact with ex-husband Ian Beale.
However far from being a romantic reunion, it emerged that Jane was hoping to reconnect with her adopted son Bobby.
In tonight’s episode the pair finally had an emotional moment and forgave each other.
As Bobby headed back to Walford, he asked if he could see Jane again and she eagerly agreed.
She gave him his birthday present – a bracelet with an Islamic passage engraved on it – leading to Bobby asking how she knew what to get him.
Jane told him a friend had mentioned it before.
Meanwhile Ian already made a clumsy pass at Jane, assuming his own relationship with Cindy was over.
She rejected him, but told him she was single as she couldn’t face another relationship.
However the minute they were all gone, Jane got on the blower and the truth was revealed.
“Okay, love, see you later,” she said before adding: “Oh, Masood? That silver band with the scripture? He loved it. Thank you.”
That means Jane has reunited with her ex Masood Ahmed.
