Columbia experiences fall in demand for cocaine leaving it high and dry

Following a peace agreement between the government and the FARC rebels, Columbia has witnessed a fall in demand for cocaine. This drug was used by the rebel group to finance its wars and now with the peace agreement, the demand for it has fallen. This has led to poverty among farmers in large parts of the country.
