Doc just let slip that Khris Middleton had surgery over the summer — have heard it was a cleanup right after the season on his ankle (presumably the left one he hurt in Feb). He’s in Vegas this week and seems to be moving normally so assumption is he’ll be fine for camp. – 11:29 PM

Middleton was walking without pain or discomfort when he visited his teammates in Las Vegas for summer league action Saturday afternoon. As far as a timeline for recovery, Middleton has already started light court work, league sources tell The Athletic, and he is expected to be ready for the start of the 2024-25 season. -via New York Times / July 17, 2024
What Holiday brought to Milwaukee was a sense of community. He helped build chemistry with his teammates. “I don’t just look at him as a basketball player, man, he was a true friend of mine,” Khris Middleton said. “Off the court, he was able to make everybody around here comfortable by being able to talk to him, being able to hang out, being able to throw anything on him.” For Holiday, he believes that trust is the foundation for any team sport — it’s difficult to win without it. “For me, just knowing the person next to me, I trust them and they trust me just as much as I trust them,” he said. “Again, it just makes not only life, but it makes basketball, so much more fun to play.” -via New York Times / May 21, 2024
