Steve Bannon made never-before-seen video to 'rehabilitate' Epstein's reputation: report

Steve Bannon has 15 hours of footage of Jeffrey Epstein that has never surfaced, Insider wrote in a Wednesday report.

While Bannon sits in the Danbury Federal Prison serving out his sentence for refusing to comply with a congressional subpoena, new information revealed the right-wing streaming host had a close enough relationship with Epstein that he was allowed to film activities.

The report claims that Bannon said he was filming a "documentary," but that the claim doesn't hold up.

"Sources say Bannon was friends with Epstein and was trying to rehabilitate his reputation," Insider said.

A clip of the interview with Epstein was published by the New York Post in 2021, where the man accused of raping young girls said he supports the "Times Up" movement. The group was formed after women came forward about being sexually harassed by Harvey Weinstein and it became clear that it was an open secret he was abusing women. He has since been convicted on two charges by a jury in New York.

"I made my living from old thinking," Epstein said in the video. "But the future is for the way women think."

"Is that kind of sop because of all the depravity you've done against young women?" Bannon replied.

The film Bannon said he was making would be called: "The Monsters: Epstein's Life Among the Global Elite," and he said he had 15 hours of footage of Epstein in Paris and Manhattan.

No one has seen the footage other than the Post clip, however.

The insider noted that Epstein has never been mentioned in all of Bannon's coverage, interviews, and podcast.

"Bannon, who frequently speaks to journalists, did not respond to numerous voicemails, emails, and text messages from Business Insider over the course of several years requesting comment about his relationship with Epstein," the report said.

After Bannon gets out of prison, he will face trial for fraud in connection with a "Build the Wall" scam.
