PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A crash between a TriMet MAX train and a car in Gresham left one rider hospitalized and the driver of the vehicle possibly injured early Wednesday afternoon, according to TriMet officials.

The crash took place near the Ruby Junction/E 197th Avenue MAX Station on E Burnside Street around 1:20 p.m. The cause of the crash, however, remains unknown.
